Upload the image without converting it first
The editor accepts JPG, PNG, and WebP images. JPG and JPEG refer to the same image format; there is no need to convert a JPEG into PNG just to start editing. The upload limit is 20 MB and 40 megapixels.
Keep the original file as your reference. If a JPG has visible compression around the letters, use a higher-quality source when available. Changing the file extension or saving the same image as PNG does not recover detail that was already lost.
Detect and replace existing words
Sign in to scan the image, then click a detected text block. If automatic detection misses a word, draw a box around it and enter the original wording. Type your replacement into Replace with.
Choose Match original to ask AI to follow the existing font and colour, or choose another available font. Review long replacements carefully because extra words can affect the original line breaks and spacing.
Choose output resolution and file format
The output choices are 1K, 2K, and 4K. An edit uses 20 credits at 1K, 30 at 2K, or 70 at 4K; a text scan uses 1 credit. The format choice does not change the edit’s credit cost.
PNG uses lossless compression and is a useful choice for graphics or text you want to avoid recompressing. JPEG usually produces a smaller file and suits many photos. Choose the output format before generating; the downloaded file will use that format regardless of the upload format.
Check the result and download your edited image
Compare the edited image with the original. Check spelling, fine text, and the reconstructed background around the old words. AI editing can change nearby pixels and does not guarantee an exact font match.
Download the PNG or JPEG once you are happy with it. To change another text block, choose Edit again and continue from the latest result. Working from that result keeps earlier changes in the image.
